All right who's ready for some soy free Chinese food? This is a simple recipe that we all love.
1 lb of grass fed top sirloin steak cut into slices
1 tablespoon cornstarch or tapioca
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup cooking sherry
2 tablespoons water
olive oil (enough to cover the bottom of a large saute pan)
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon honey
In a Ziploc bag toss the beef with cornstarch or tapioca & sherry, then let set for twenty minutes. Heat oil in a large saute pan and saute broccoli until just slightly firm, then remove them from the pan and set to the side. Add your sliced meat to the pan, season, and sear on high heat 1 minute on each side. Add some of the marinades from the bag the beef was in, lower heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes Add the broccoli back into the pan. Add the honey toss until it melts and combines then add sesame seeds for garnish (optional). Serve immediately with rice.
