Jingle Voxbox

We are a part of the Influenster network and are asked to give our opinion on products every once in awhile. Well, this was one of those boxes. This is called the Jingle Vox Box and join us to see what was inside!

The first product was 

Biscoff Cookies: 

These were so tasty! They did contain soy so Mrs. Cottage didn't eat any. We had them with hot coffee. Great addition to a book on a cold morning.

The next one was Ore-Ida Tots

We really love these tater tots! Especially with chili on top!! Here is our recipe for it:

Ore-Ida Tots
We really love these tater tots! Especially with chili on top!! Here is our recipe for it:

1 bag Ore-Ida Tots

2 lbs Ground Beef (We used grass-fed beef.)

2 Sweet Onions 

2 Sweet Bell Peppers

1/2 Tablespoon Cumin 

1 Tablespoon Chili Powder 

1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder 

Himalayan Pink Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

2 - 15.5 oz Cans Organic Black Beans 

2 - 15.5 oz Cans of Kidney Beans

2 Pint Jars Of Green Salsa (We used homemade.)

In a stock pan brown your beef. Season meat and add canned beans.

Chop your bell peppers and place in pan and saute' in grass-fed butter or coconut oil until sweet and tender. Add peppers to meat and bean mixture, reserving oil for onions. Chop onions and place in reserved oil. Cook until tender and translucent and the onions will be sweet.  I like to add salt and pepper to onions while they cook. When tender add them to beans, beef, and peppers.  Stir well to combine.  To this, we added 2 home-canned jars of mild green salsa.  This we made over the summer with our green tomatoes.  You can use store-bought jars or even maybe a green enchilada sauce.  Stir well to mix and then reduce heat and let simmer.

These adorable little dolls are perfect for that special little one in your life. Aren't they cute? This one is Rapunzel perfect for our house of long hair ladies, don't you think.

The next product that we have it the NYC City 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner:
Love how this eyeliner goes on and doesn't smear! I have to say that this is one of my favorite eyeliner pencils.

Kiss True Volume Lashes:

These lashes are much softer than your typical eyelashes which can be a little sharp on the edges. They blend nicely with your real lashes which make it look like you have long and thick eyelashes.

Kiss Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe:
I really liked this adhesive, it held well and was gentle on my skin.

Pure Ice Nail Polish:

This wasn't my favorite, I would have liked it better if it was a purple base color instead of clear. Overall, it dried fast and I liked the way the glitter looked.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream:
Love how this makes my skin feel! Perfect for the winter weather.
