Book: 'Egypt's Sister' by author Angela Hunt
This book made me laugh, cry and ride the roller coaster of emotion. The sweet innocence of young girls and the betrayal of a precious friend, anger, bitterness, and forgiveness and the thread of the names, the very character of God to remind the main character and even us as the silent partner walking through the streets of Egypt and Rome that even when we, in our frail flesh and finite mind cannot see God's hand in our lives. In our turmoil and when things seem to be going horribly wrong, He is there.
I found this book precious.
I am sad as I finished it because the character has somehow become a friend and I hate to see her go.
My recommendation to you is to read this book, walk the dusty ancient streets with Chava and be carried away into the past with a dear friend.
