Whenever the rodeo comes to town you can be sure we will be there! And not just for the funnel cake. We always have a wonderful time so we thought we would share some of the pictures from the Whip Cracking Rodeo.
While Mr. Cottage stood in line for funnel cake and chips (Yes, I realize I have a problem. But in my defense, I've waited since August for a plate of that delectable fried dough covered in powdered sugar and I wasn't about to miss out on it) I wondered about taking pictures of these cute little guys and chatting with a sweet lady who happened to like cows as much as I do. That's the thing about rodeos people are usually super friendly and like to talk.
The fun started with a card game, the last one at the table won. You can probably guess why...
And then probably my favorite part!
Bronc riding started with a... well... bang maybe the best way to describe it.
Chuckwagon races were up next! I think this maybe Mr. Cottage's second favorite event, right next to bull riding.
After two laps of chuckwagon races throwing up the dirt, calf roping took the arena.
And then trick riding! This part is so fun to watch!!
Team roping followed the trick riders.
And then the trick riders were back!
Before you knew it barrel racing was up!
And last but hardly least bull riding!
Have you ever been to a rodeo? Tell us in the comments!
