Grace when I'm running behind. Grace when I'm tired of the endless beat of my feet on the pavement in the endless race of life. Grace when I mess up. Grace when I'm beat and life hurts. I'll give myself grace when I stumble muddy, tired, with the weight of the world on my back.
Because the truth is I am my own worst critic, I can chew myself up over the slightest failing better than anyone else because I know the words that can hurt me the worst.
The truth is you and I deserve grace.
We find it easy to give everyone else, everyone but us.
He's already given us grace- unearned, undeserved, unmerited- why can't we do the same?
Be the kind of woman who spends her days not worrying about the future, not worrying if she succeeds or fails because all that matters you tried. It doesn't matter what does or doesn't happen this week, this month, this year... it doesn't matter none of it. God's still going to use us, nothing can change that. So give yourself grace. Grace to breathe, to step back when you need to.
...“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”... 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIVYou see there is beauty in my weakness because in the middle of my mess He is writing His story. In my stumbles, His fingerprints shine the brightest. Allow your heart to be extravagant, reckless with kindness, love, mercy, and grace.
