Cheese And Chive Loaf
We have seen this done when dining out and wanted to give it a try. It is a showy loaf that would be great for having people over for dinner. The bread is flaky on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.
2 2/3 cups organic flour
1/2 tsp dry yeast
1 Tbsp organic sugar
1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1 Tbsp of olive or coconut oil
1 1/2 cup Cheese
Chives

I start with 9 ounces of warm not hot spring water in my bread machine. I add the rest of the ingredients except the yeast which I put on top. Put the machine on the dough setting.
When your cycle is finished remove your dough and make into a round shape. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Cover this with oiled plastic wrap and leave in a warm draft-free place until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 425 F.
When oven has reached the correct temperature place your cookie sheet in the oven and bake bread for 40 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. Remove from oven and slice bread in a crosshatch design with a sharp knife leaving the base of the bread uncut. Stuff the sliced spaces with cheese and diced up chives and place back in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until melted. Serve this hot from the oven.
