A Distant Melody Book Review

I absolutely loved A Distant Melody. It's one of my all time favorite World War II based novels. You fall in love with the characters as you get to know Allie Miller a ball-bearing heiress and  Lt. Walter Novak of the Army Air Force. I couldn't put this book down- and then was so sad it was over I read it over again. The characters are believable and the story so sweet. I love how she portrayed Allie's faith, as she struggles to pick between obeying her parent's wishes for her to marry someone who is not a Christian and follow the call He has put on her heart to serve Him.

Just a warning, this is book one in the 'Wings Of Glory' series and after you finish this one you HAVE to read 'A Memory Between Us' and 'Blue Skies Tomorrow'!
