Organic Scones Recipe

This recipe was always a favorite when my girls were little.  Grandma would take out her teapot and brew up some tea as I would pull the ingredients for the scones from the pantry and begin chopping my apples. The faces of the girls lit up when they would come down the stairs and smell the delicious aromas baking in the kitchen.  Such wonderful memories these scones evoke.
These scones are a super simple recipe that you will enjoy for a lifetime.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Organic peeled and chopped apples
3 Tablespoons Raw Honey
6 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
1 Tablespoon Grass Fed Butter
1  Free Range Egg, beaten
1/3 Cup Juice

Directions:

Simmer apples in juice set aside and in a bowl mix together the seven ingredients. Measure juice in fruit pan add 1/3 cup and simmer fruit then pour into bowl with other ingredients. Stir well then turn onto a floured cutting board. Add flour until not sticky consistency. Put in one - two circles and cut out triangles or what we did hearts. You can top with raw sugar if you would like. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes, and enjoy!
